A photoblog from Ambassador Logan Dralle (Her Oregon Life)

We packed up the car and hit the road to swing by Mount Shasta (Shasta-Trinity National Forest) where we backpacked in for the night. We camped above an alpine lake and skinny dipped at a nearby lake. We were lucky enough to make it back to camp to catch a beautiful sunset (followed by sunrise the next morning.) The next day, we hiked out and took a dip in Castle Lake to wipe off the dirtbag.

We had to make a quick detour to Burney Falls State Park. These iconic falls have been on my list for YEARS, and let me tell you it was worth stopping for. It’s $10 to get in.”

We finished up the trip at a beautiful and serene wedding in the Lake Tahoe area.
